Serial Interfaces

Selectable between:

  • RS-232:
    • Selectable baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 and 19600 baud);
    • Asynchronous serial protocol studied for each moisture measurement application.
  • RS-485:
    • Selectable baud-rate (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 and 19600 baud).
    • Protection diodes against voltage surges between different point of RS-485 network.
    • 120 Ohm termination resistor if required
    • Pull-up and pull-down resistor for proper serial lines biasing in idle mode (if required).
    • Network addressing available for multi-point measurements.
    • Asynchronous serial protocol defined for each moisture measurement application
External connectors
  • J1: Standard M12 4 poles plug:
    • Pole 1: Protection Earth
    • Pole 2: + 24Vdc (or 24V ac)
